InSight Mentoring Program

• Our InSight Mentoring Pogram is a three-year outreach program where Mentors provide intensive support to Winnipeg Indigenous women who are pregnant and/or have had a baby within the last 12 months.
• InSight is a voluntary, evidence-based outreach program which provides support services to pregnant and post-natal women who are living with addiction (alcohol and/or substance) and would benefit from connections to community resources.

InSight will provide the following supports and advocacy:

• referrals to addictions supports;
• access to prenatal and infant care;
• assistance with child custody personal safety, income security housing, harm reduction, family planning; and
• support in setting and achieving personal goals.

InSight provides services to women who:

• are pregnant or have given birth within the last 12 months;
• are 18 years of age or older;
• are living with challenging life circumstances and are not well connected with community service;
• are voluntarily involved in the program; and
• self-identify as being of Indigenous origin.
