InSight Mentoring Program
- Our InSight Mentoring Program is a three-year outreach program where Mentors provide intensive support to Winnipeg Indigenous women who are pregnant and/or have had a baby within the last 12 months.
- InSight is a voluntary, evidence-based outreach program which provides support services to pregnant and post-natal women who are living with addiction (alcohol and/or substance) and would benefit from connections to community resources.
Support and Advocacy
InSight will provide the following supports and advocacy:
- Referrals to addiction supports.
- Access to prenatal and infant care.
- Assistance with child custody, personal safety, income security housing, harm reduction, and family planning.
- Support in setting and achieving personal goals.
Criteria
InSight provides services to women who:
- Are pregnant or have given birth within the last 12 months.
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Are living with challenging life circumstances and are not well connected with community service.
- Are voluntarily involved in the program.
- Self-identify as being of Indigenous origin.

12:00PM to 1:00PM
